Eagle tree "White Aromagia"
Eagle tree "White Aromagia" - Brugmansia candida.
A powerful and very beautiful lush flowering plant from the Solanaceae family. In temperate latitudes it grows up to 2 m.
Anyone who once sees this beauty during flowering will simply fall in love with it!
Giant tubular-bell-shaped flowers reach up to 30 cm in length and up to 15 cm in diameter, have a strong pleasant aroma, especially at night.
The leaves are ovoid, quite large, 20-30 cm long, bright green.
Brugmansia tolerates frosts down to -5 °C, is perfect for growing in tubs, which in winter can be placed in a large bright room or in a winter garden.
Agrotechnics.
Seeds are sown for seedlings in January-March (with additional lighting - all year round). Sowing is carried out in light loose soil to a depth of 0.5-1 cm and, after moderate watering, the containers are covered with transparent film and placed in a warm place with sufficiently bright but diffused light. The seeds germinate up to 1.5 months.
After the emergence of shoots, the film is removed, and the seedlings are carefully sprayed 2-3 times a day. As soon as the 3-5th true leaf appears, the seedlings are planted in separate pots, deepening to the cotyledon leaves.
The plant is light-loving and heat-loving (in summer +20+24 °C, in winter +10 °C). When watering in summer, do not allow the soil to dry out, in winter the frequency of watering can be reduced, but the soil should remain moist.
Brugmansia is fed twice a month in spring and summer, with liquid fertilizer for indoor plants. Replanted at a young age every two years. Later, when the plant grows, the top layer of soil is changed every year.
Warning: all parts of Brugmansia are poisonous!
